Chipboard Screw

The chipboard screw is a single-thread, self-tapping fastener specifically engineered for wood-based composite materials, including particleboard, medium-density fiberboard, and plywood. Featuring a sharp pointed tip, it enables direct driving without pre-drilling, making it an ideal solution for furniture manufacturing, cabinet assembly, interior joinery, and packaging applications.

Material: Carbon steel c1022,c1018 / Stainless steel 304/316 / Brass (decorative)
Nominal Diameter: ST 2.9 – ST 6.3 Nominal Length: 10 mm – 150 mm (in 5 mm increments)
Head Styles: Countersunk (flat head with undercut), pan head, round head, available with Phillips or Torx drive

Installation Instructions

Mark screw positions.
Self-tapping tip – no pre-drilling needed (for hardwoods or edges, use pilot hole).
Drive in straight at low-to-medium speed with steady pressure.
Drive until countersunk head is flush or slightly below surface – do not over-tighten.
Clean debris and check tightness.
